Keep Your Bevel & Bond Board Looking Its Best
Your Bevel & Bond cutting board is made from premium American maple and walnut — known for its natural durability and beautiful, rich character. With a little care, your board will remain beautiful and functional for decades to come.
Daily Cleaning
Gently wash by hand with warm water and mild dish soap.
Do not soak or submerge your board in water.
Dry immediately with a towel — avoid air drying vertically or leaving it in a wet sink.
What to Avoid
Never put your board in the dishwasher. The high heat and moisture will cause warping and cracks.
Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or scouring pads that can damage the wood.
Don’t leave wet ingredients (such as meat juices or lemon juice) on the surface for extended periods.

To prevent the wood from drying, cracking, or warping, re-oil your board every 3–4 weeks, or whenever the wood looks dry.
How to Oil:
- Use a clean, lint-free cloth or paper towel.
- Apply a generous amount of food-grade mineral oil or Bevel & Bond Board Balm.
- Rub the oil into the grain on all sides of the board (including edges).
- Let it sit for several hours or overnight.
- Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth.
Deeper Cleaning & Deodorizing
Salt & Lemon Scrub: Sprinkle coarse salt on the board and rub with half a lemon. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Vinegar Spray: Mix white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) to sanitize naturally.
Storage Tips
Store flat in a dry area — avoid wet countertops or heat sources.
Do not stack heavy items like pots or pans on top of your board.
